Elemental

Hey there, all...

It's Valentine's Day! Since I buy into this holiday shit, I thought I would make a post about it. :P

I've had four people that I call "Great Loves" over my life, people who have taught me how to love (or not to love) someone. There was a dream I had some time ago where I was writing to each of them, referring to them by element; I've written three of the four poems from that dream already, with one more to come.

OK, now that's out of the way...I feel better today. Went out with a friend to see Bowling for Columbine, which is a lot better put-together than I expected. I fully expect Michael Moore to preach to the choir with his documentaries, but he raises quite a few interesting questions and connects a lot of seemingly random, baseless things to one surprising undercurrent that's running through our country right now. If you haven't seen it yet (even if you *are* Republican or Libertarian), go do it! He only does maybe two things that are needlessly antagonistic. :)
