Ramadan, Day 6: Spit Out Onto The Highway
Nov. 21st, 2001 03:06 pmHey there, all...
Today was a pretty quiet day. I didn't do much of anything, but I hope to see a movie or something before work tonight. I just found out "Mulholland Drive" was playing at the Fayetteville 16, so I'll call up Arlekin and see if he wants to head out.
Joey finally talked to me today; he seemed to be in a good mood. We had The Discussion and it turns out he dumped me before I had the opportunity to do anything. Heh. Big surprise, right? Funny and ironic and all that.
I'm depressed now, but I think I'll get over it fairly quickly. I mean, it was an amicable split, you know...we'll still be friends and roommates and all that, and I think since he doesn't have to invest so much emotionally now he'll open up a lot more. At least that's what I'm hoping.
I feel like crap for the most part. Oddly enough, all I wanted to do today was eat ice cream and MUCK. Wow, more irony. I've got a lot of creative fuel for a while.
So, we've broken up. I'm still kinda foggy; I don't think it's sunken in yet. Maybe once the sun goes down I can get drunk, cry a little bit, and then get on with it. Either way, it's for the best.
