Further Confusion 2011
Jan. 8th, 2011 09:21 amDon't you hate it when conventions just sneak up on you? I was all ready to settle down after the craziness of the holidays into the doldrums of early 2011 when suddenly Further Confusion is upon us!
I'll be taking advantage of the Writing track panels more than ever this year, I hope -- kudos to the Writing track organizer, who got a really decent crop of topics together this year! As always, I'll also be hosting my "Introduction to Buddhism" panel, and I'll also be taking a small part in the Writing track by hosting a "Writer's Group" panel on Monday. Here's my full schedule, in case you were interested in stalking me or something:
Friday, January 14th
1 pm (California) – Intro to Buddhism
5 pm (Empire) – Novel Writing
Saturday, January 15th
11 am (Empire) – Writer’s Workshop
1 pm (Empire) – Learning to Love Editing
3 pm (Empire) – Furry Writers’ Guild Meet and Greet
8 pm (Empire) – Storytelling
10 pm (Empire) – Unsheathed Live Podcast
Sunday, January 16th
11 am (Empire) – Character Journeys
1 pm (California) – Writing for Illustration
3 pm (Empire) – Spiritual Tea
8 pm (Empire) – Adult Furry Fiction
Monday, January 17th
1 pm (Crystal) – Writing Groups
As you can see, I'll be practically living in Empire on Saturday and Sunday. In between panels, I think I'll have my laptop out for writing, organizing notes or maybe duck out to one of the many local shops for something to eat. There's still plenty of time for group dinners and the like, but for the most part I want to keep the food expense relatively low.
I also only have one sketchbook! I can't remember what happened to the other one; it was a mini-golf and magic themed one, and I remember leaving it with an artist and...that was the end of it. At this point, I don't expect to see it ever again, but if by some off chance you do have it (or any other sketchbook) could you perhaps bring it to the Fairmont next weekend? I would be ever so grateful!
Looking forward to seeing you all there! If you're looking to grab me for a meal or hangout time or something, just message me here. :)
