The Weekend

I went to FC this weekend. I don't like making these huge con reports or anything, but I will say that I had a lot of fun chatting with folks I hadn't gotten the chance to talk to for a while, and I managed to score a couple of sweet prints and also a couple of neat books that were signed by the editor/author! All in all, not a bad little score.
Played in the poker and cribbage tournaments. I'm kind of bitter about the way things went down this year, so the less said the better. :) When I was actually playing I had fun, though, so there's something to be said for that.
Caught wicked illness on Friday, which got worse on Saturday, which got even worse on Sunday. I'm feeling better today;![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
toob (whom I got sick) and I opted to spend today at home recuperating, and it's done wonders. Still don't have much of an appetite (most food kind of tastes funny) but the coughing has gone down and I'm thankfully not feverish any more.
All things told, FC was a really great con. There are so many really super-cool people that I'm lucky to know. :)
