Hey there, all...
So I found out that a new Middle Eastern restaurant not too far from here sells falafel. FALAFEL!
I know what I'll be having for lunch. :9
It's been exceedingly hard to get started on any of the projects I've had for today, which leads me to a fundamental problem that's been annoying the shit out of me for the past few weeks.
Being unfocused is one of those things that you don't really notice until you clear a bunch of other crap out of the way and deal with it. Then, it's there, plain as day.
A lot of the time, I feel like I'm walking around with a giant cotton swab inside my head. (Insert joke about ancestry here.) Things are hazy, and though there are things right there in front of me I can't just focus on the task at hand; my mind wanders to all kinds of things, the most annoying of which are fabricated arguments that just attack me out of nowhere, but which I'll have to do something with before I can move on to the next thing. When did my brain start doing that? Grr.
So, developing a clear mind is priority number one. I'm tired of not being pointed in a direction and following it.
In other news, Don gave me this really, *really* anti-Semitic flyer today. It's...flabber-gasting. It's always amusing to see someone claiming to be Christian spouting off stuff Christ would probably shoot you with a sawed-off for. :)
