But I'm also at work.
Pretty busy good day yesterday. Watched Searching for Bobby Fischer with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
2_gryphon...pretty good movie, actually. It's a very good thing Josh Waitskin was a stubborn little brat, else he would have been broken by his dad and teachers long before his 18th birthday. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that Morpheus (aka Cowboy Curtis) was one of his teachers?
In the middle of reorganizing the Poetry section; I wish I knew a lot more about poetry, too. There are all these connections and friendships and movements and everything, and you could probably play Six Degrees of Ezra Pound if you really wanted to. So much to learn, so little time...
Boomer Express will be moving from three strips a week to five after Tyrnn comes back from Japan. That's good, because it allows for a bit more uniformity and it feels like it'll make it easier for me to tell a story now that I have a set format to work with.
I thinksylvan mentioned this earlier, but the comic itself does seem pretty...wandering, and yeah, that's my fault. :) I keep experimenting with all kinds of things, dialogue, plot elements, characterizations, anything to make it distinctive, so that I feel I know what it is I'm doing. I have an idea for the direction of the comic, but ultimately that decision is up to Tyrnn. We'll have to talk more about it; the comic has gone beyond its original boundaries, so we need to reset them and stick with it.
In the meantime, almost all of my other projects have been neglected because of being sick (again), and reading, and obsessive movie-watching. <:) If I can't make it to Tulsa this weekend (it doesn't look like I can), then I'll try to get that done. I *need* to play mini-golf sometime in the next three weeks, or else I will die. The weather's getting warmer, where the hell is my putter??
