Feb. 7th, 2003 01:30 pmHey there, all...
Good mood + coffee = hyperactivity. I could clean the *world* right now.
First off, welcome to
cargoweasel,
duncanroo and
teko. Thanks for stopping by, even if it was by mistake. :D
Work has been fun! There's a fellow who's interested in all of our bound editions of The American Rifleman, the official magazine of the NRA. He's been snapping them up like they're going out of style, to the tune of hundreds of dollars. I got a chance to call him on the phone today to discuss the latest shipment, and my gay-dar went off almost immediately. Maybe it's because he's from California?
Moving duplicates around. Straightened up the Arkansas section, moved Judaica to its new home, and after I'm done packing all of these heavy gun books I get to straighten up and consolidate Mythology and Folklore. Hurrah! Did I mention I love my job? :)
Gathering a plan for Valentine's Day. I'm planning something for four different people, lovers, close friends and exes after a sort. With some folks it'll be late but hopefully they won't mind.
There's a giant inflatable chicken sitting on the Walton Arts Center across the street for the Tyson's Shareholder's Meeting. I swear, just when you think you can forget you live in freakin' *Arkansas*, something like this comes along and ruins everything. :) I really wish I had a camera. It's a cute chicken.
An Australian pub band composed a score to Buster Keaton's "Sherlock Jr." and they'll be performing it live along with a showing of the movie. I was worried I wouldn't be able to make it since I'll be out of town two weekends straight in March, but it's not showing until April! Oh yes. :D :D
Wow. No more coffee for me. Ever.
