Hey there, all...
Normally, the weekend is my unwind time. With everything that's going on during the week, I can actually just kind of kick back and well, mellow.
That wasn't the case this weekend. Oh, don't get me wrong; I had a fun time this weekend, but for some reason it didn't leave me with that "all-right-I'm-ready-to-go-kick-Monday's-ass" feeling. So now work is being an absolute bear, and there are so many books to shelve, and Jeremy put Catholic books in with the Baptist books and I have to resort everything and goddamnit if I *ever* see him walk into the Bookstore again I'm going to jump him and pull out his teeth with a blunt spoon!

jtskunk, if you're able to read this, check out "Buddhism Without Beliefs". All the great 'philosophy' of Buddhism with none of the spirituality! Now you can have your Zen and be agnostic too!
I had this weird 'guilt dream' last night. I usually don't have dreams unless I'm feeling guilty about something, and I'm trying to ignore it. I had this dream that I had walked into Lester Burnham's house from American Beauty, and he was in the bathroom masturbating in front of a mirror. I won't even begin to think about the symbolism that could possibly entail.
There was a fellow talking to me (I forget who) and he was showing me all kinds of things, stuff that would be nice to know but not necessary, I suppose. I suddenly realized with a bit of dismay that my hair was a lot longer than I thought it should be (I cut my hair every time I finish a writing project, and am about to start a new one) and I felt bad for being lazy about things that I know I should be doing.
So, if I can make it home during the week, I think I'll tell everyone to back off for a little while so I can catch up on projects that *need* to be done. I've been putting it off for far too long, and I would really like to kick up a rhythm where I'm not writing like a stutter for any length of time.
Even still, I'll have to challengedanruk to a game of cribbage next time I spot him on FM. >:)
