Hey there, all...

Well, it's been a pretty interesting week, all things told. Work's been not so bad; I'm finally getting up on my hours properly, and there are a lot of books going through so I think they're renewing their faith in my abilities for one more push at making the Internet business work. Now, if I could just find some way to breathe new life into it...it's not easy by a long shot; the major Internet booksellers are doing their best to squeeze people like us out.

Does anyone need books from the Bureau of American Ethnology?

I'm making progress with writing, slowly but surely...but it's not what I should be making progress with.

Hey there, all...

Well, it's been a pretty interesting week, all things told. I'm making progress with writing, slowly but surely...but it's not what I should be making progress with. <:) Boomer Express is coming along nicely; I think I've got permanent writer status for it, which is a very nice feeling. Now I just have to mesh a bit more with what Tyrnn wants for it, and we're in business. We have a great connection with general storyline, but the day-to-day feel of the comic is what we're having the most trouble with. The more we collaborate though, the better kind of feel we'll get for each other I'm certain.

In other news Potoroo has agreed to draw "The Bane of My Salvation"! I'm really excited; he's a really great guy, a super-artist, and I think he'll really have excellent vision for the feel of the comic. :D We're not rushing into production or anything, but now the idea can finally get rolling instead of waiting for me to learn how to draw.

Personally...well, that's a different story. Ryngs, Silver and I have been having some pretty heavy conversations about our relationships, and mainly, the way Ryngs have handled things. Things aren't tense, but there's a lot more coming out on the table all at once than ever before, so we're needing to untangle all the perspectives and opinions, smooth them out, and figure out what we need to do with them. I'm torn between...well, taking what I feel I deserve and doing what's best for the general peace of the house. It's complicated.

As is...my love life (or lack of one). I'm pretty...confused about things right now, and now I have multiple suitors. I'm just...not sure about anything. I'm inclined to leave well enough alone, and retreat back from that level of relationship completely for now, but...well, will the ships still be there when I come back to harbor?

Heh, I should take my own advice. Sometimes shooting yourself in the foot is the only way out of a situation. :P

Anyway, this weekend I think I'll try my absolute best to write as much as possible. I need to do laundry something fierce (I'll see if we can't round up and do that tomorrow), and my room and things need to be straightened and organized, too, so I'll probably take care of that today before shutting myself in and rapping with my muse.

Oh...and one more thing...if any of you have never seen "'Night, Mother" DO IT NOW. Excellent 80s movie with Sissy Spacek and Anne Bancroft. Surprisingly so. :)

I've rented "Fritz the Cat" and "The Mothman Prophecies" to get my movie fix for the weekend; I think I'll start posting more movie reviews or something now...I get the feeling I'll be watching a lot more of them in the coming months. :)
