Quit Day, Part II

So, I went to get my last paycheck today, wracked with guilt...
Naturally, Donna and Doris got the brunt of my wholly irresponsible behavior; the fellow who was supposed to be their third man didn't show up, so Doris was stuck on register while Donna helped re-stock and help customers as best she could, all while doing pizza and subs.
Naturally, Kathy split to pick up the checks early and came back late, so she wouldn't have to deal with any of it.
And...well, I felt so bad about the way I handled things I went back and apologized to all three of them for the way I did things. Donna was upset, and Doris was sad, and Kathy (naturally) backpedaled.
Naturally, she tried to get me to work my schedule this week. :D
I may be sorry...but I'm not *that* sorry.
