A Few Favorites
Nov. 2nd, 2008 11:13 pmLately I've been catching up on all of my old podcasts. They're a pretty handy thing to have around when you're packing; at least until my lingering shame over not listening to all of the great music people have burned for me gets too overwhelming and I go on a "new music" binge, but that's at least another week or two down the road.
One of my absolute favorite podcasts is The Moth, which is just real people telling autobiographical stories on stage. They're almost always amazing. You should give them a try sometime!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Ed Gavagan: Drowning on Sullivan Street
Jenifer Hixson: Where There's Smoke...
Matthew McGough: My First Day With the Yankees
There is so much going on right now: Ryan and I are moving to Campbell next weekend, Mat is moving away (:() and the election will be going down on Tuesday. It's kind of overwhelming. I really hope this is a good week for us, though, and that Ryan and I will still be legally married by the time we're moving. Blah.
