The Long Dry Stretch

I'm still on LOST afterglow; Wednesday's episode was probably the best all season. I might be saying that because I'm very partial to Locke, though. Even when he's being an incredible jerk to the other Losties. :)
Work has been pretty damned busy; the other media guy has taken a vacation for the next two weeks, leaving me to maintain the entire section all by my lonesome. Even if I do say so myself, I've been doing a pretty good job of it. I've learned how precious time is, that's for sure!
Writing has taken a bit of a hit. I wrote three movie reviews yesterday, but I've stalled for a week or so before that. I didn't really have the time (or energy) to write much at work, and there's just not much of an opportunity to do it at home. I'm going to have to figure out a solution to that particular dilemma, that's for sure.
Above all, I miss being online for an extended period of time. I only get two chunks of time where I can actually converse with anyone for a while, and that's Mondays and Thursday mornings. I can't really do much but check things at work, and my evenings are booked once I get home. I would definitely like to be able to do more MUCKing around, but oddly enough when I kill an entire Monday to just being around online I start to feel guilty about all the stuff I neglected to be able to pull it off. Damned if you do...
There's a bit of gaming geekery that I'd like to spaz about, but it will just have to wait for another time; I think my character in Vlad's game has really start to hit his stride last game, a claim that's bolstered by the fact that Tube and I argued about him afterwards. :)
Now, work.
