OK, I'm done geeking out now. Really, I promise!

For obvious reasons I'm in a kind of somber and introspective mood. Thanks to a quote of mine belly4you put into her quote book, I went over and reread a lot of the poetry I've put up this year in writerrabbit. I was...surprised. There was a feeling of, "Hang on, I *wrote* that?!" through the whole thing; it's not, you know, Shakespeare, but it's kind of neat to realize that maybe you're not so bad at what you want to do after all. :) Now, if only I could start in on prose and dialogue, and get better with that too...

I'm tired of writing about writing, honestly; I'd much rather just sit down and *do* it. The trick is, of course, doing it. There's so much that I'd like to get into, though, and it's hard to pick one thing and run with it.

I have decided, though, that I'll set a goal of submitting poetry to at least two publications every month in 2006. This, of course, means writing a lot more, so I'd better get started. :)

This weekend will be busy; but then, who *won't* be busy this weekend? ;) Work today and tomorrow, Cy's Werewolf game tonight (probably), and I think I'll take Saturday night to work on my game. Christmas on Sunday, and we'll be hosting a dinner for wayward furs and friends at either our or V's place. Then on Monday I get fitted for a crown. It sucks that I get my tooth fixed the day *after* Christmas dinner, but them's the breaks I suppose.

Oh! And one more thing. toob is hot, and I love him. He melts my marshmallows. :9 Happy holidays!
