I'm back from Florida, and mp3 was an enormously fun time. Despite the perils associated with this kind of thing, I would really like to thank a lot of people who have been extraordinarily kind to me over the past week.
To FlyingFox/Sparky: Thank you so, so much for the soul-crushing ride to and from the convention, for the crash space, for other help and for being an all-around awesome host. And for having very good taste in music, thus making the drive from Arkansas to Florida that much easier. ;) Your generosity is so very much appreciated.
To Lynxkitten: For offering up your house as crash space and your kitty as a sleep buddy, I salute you. Thanks for confiding in me when you needed to, and giving me all kinds of inspiration spiritually. You are all kinds of rock wrapped up into one smiling package. :)
To Prismo: For enduring the trip to Universal with us and having fun anyway, for worrying about us when we didn't call, for regaling us with gaming stories, and making your visit that much more awesome when it comes down. I look forward to much tea-drinking!
To Geemo: For having more in common than I realized. :) For being awesome and thoughtful, and other things I dare not mention here (but you know what they are anyway).
To Blackfeather: For teaching me how far I still needed to go, and for letting me in on a choice sci-fi setting. Thanks for letting me in on all your dreams.
To Genesis: For having neat hair and keeping the con fueled with Pixie Stix the size of Idaho. :)
To John B.: For scaring the shit out of me with your kirin, and helping me out with character creation, and reminding me a thing or two about what this whole role-play business should be about anyway. Oh! And grossing out just about everyone with delicious Africa stories. :D
To Simba: For...having a makeover. :D And rocking all at karaoke, improv *and* PawPets. Wow. <:) To Xydexx and Rigel: For being mellowcool, tolerating my presence, and not leaning back *too* far with the whole Devil Stix thing. ;) To T'Chall: For melting me on several occassions, and being a rather unassuming rock-master. :) To Jadedfox: For the con suite, and being so cool about it! To KitSilverfox, Pyrophin and co.: For letting me in on a really neat (if chaotic) card game. I'm very...flattered, though I can't say I really like being owned by Michael Eisner. <:) To everyone I missed: You all rock just as hard, and you know who you are. Thanks for picking me up when I needed it, saying hi, letting me hit you in the head and being all-around nice people. :) To staff: You guys throw a mean party, I will definitely be around next year. :D
