So I'm here in California (surprise, Talos!), made it in all right. The flights were nerve-wracking as always (have I mentioned my slight phobia of heights?), but when they weren't bumping around or threatening to drop straight out of the sky (for planes have the annoying habit of stalling at 35000, just because they think screaming passengers are funny as hell), it was kind of neat to look out of the window and go, "Oh, so that's what it would be like to 35000 feet tall." Heh, getting over phobias through fetishes. :) If it works...
Spent the weekend in Austin, Texas with Ipequey, Leo, DNAPalmhead, the infamous EverGuest(! -- who also came back from 2 games down to beat me in cribbage. It's on now.) and a score of other furs whose names I can't remember off the top of my head. It's early still here, and I don't think my body has quite caught up to the whole gaining two hours thing. But then, there are other things that are helping with the disorientation in a rather good way. (I'm expecting an "I told you so." from Laz)
There's other stuff, but it will definitely have to wait until later. :) Things are going more than OK; I don't think I've ever had my mind blow so frequently and consistently...in quite some time. So yes, shoebox alpha gamma rays, back to bed for me.
