Adventures in Beating the Clock

Hey there, all...
So, as it turns out, I'll be foodless again until sundown. My clock spontaneously decided to stop working half an hour before the alarm went off, and again I didn't wake up until 6:30. Needless to say, I am annoyed.
Other than that, nothing much to report. Today's my late day, so I'll spend half the day writing, and the other half I'll do my best to work hard at the Bookshop. Admittedly, I've been slacking off this week...
Let's see, a couple of descriptions to hammer out, a short story to finish, a comedy routine to cement down...I should have my itinerary well filled until it's time to go. :) Hopefully I can get just a bit of washing done in there, too; provided I can catch Caleb before he leaves and he'll be so gracious as to let me use the thing with no one in there. I doubt it, though; I'll probably have to wait until Friday night.
Odis hasn't been up at all when I've gotten home, so the ears *still* aren't done. I could either go with the ratty ones I have (a concept that's not at all appealing) or do something else. At this point though I'm not really sure what I could do. I could borrow Joey's ears maybe, but the fur color doesn't match. Drat. I could also just give the materials to Odis and pay him to make the ears, or part of them, and I'll do the rest when I get home. I'm not sure. I might just scrap the Halloween bit for Friday; I'm pretty sure I could do them Friday night, and be ready for our little party on the weekend. Hmm.
Slightly grumpy, for a bunch of peevish reasons. :) I think if I make a productive day out of it today my mood will improve.
