Hey there, all...
So after a little perspective, some breakfast and orange juice in my lap, I feel quite a bit better.
Katy broke up with her boyfriend of four years last night, but she's dealing. We're all being pretty supportive. Bernadette works a half-day today and then heads off to make funeral arrangements. Charles and Don are going to pay for a flower spread at the funeral. Things like that really make me realize how lucky I am to work here. It really is the best place in Fayetteville.
Despite how it sounds, I like to think that I've gotten pretty good at keeping negative comments in perspective. What unnerves me the most about this situation is that these people have no idea who I am, or about the situation being discussed, but they're so quick to condemn or bad-mouth me. It's just scary to see a reactionary response like that. It happens all the time, though, with folks like Rush Limbaugh and others. I'm not really upset about being disliked, really...I'm upset about being prejudged. If you're going to dislike me, at least know me a bit better than that.
But then again, I am taking this a bit personally. Frayed nerves and all that, frayed nerves.

What brand of toothpaste do you use?

aubrin unintentionally turned me onto it when I ran out of my own and bummed from him.
What brand of toilet paper do you use?
Whatever's two-ply. It might clog your toilet, and be a little bit more expensive, but the added security is worth the price. Trust me.
What brand of shoes do you wear?
Whatever. :) Right now I'm wearing a pair of no name boots I got on special for $15. The soles are getting floppy, though, so it's about time to go hunting for another pair.
What brand of soda do you drink?
If it were up to only me, Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper all the way. :) I have been known to drink Mountain Dew on occassion...it works great as a whiskey chaser.
What brand of gum do you chew?
Um....does Altoids count as a brand of gum? <:) Again, whatever's offered. I almost never buy gum.
