See? I *told* you that Boomer Express would get better when I got off it. If you haven't checked it out, go see it now. I don't really recommend reading the archive but it won't be that hard to pick up on things. If you *Have* checked it out, I highly recommend giving it another chance.
The cold I hoped wouldn't happen eventually did. I just got worse and worse all day until I was feeling just awful by the time I went to bed. tyrnn's been getting a lot of crap from me, due to frustration over the comic and his general friendly nature. ;) So, sorry.
With writing duties for Boomer Express gone, I'm free to get other things done. I can work a *lot* more on Salvation and the short stories I desperately need to do. I wish I could call in to work today, but it's probably not a very good idea; it's a lot harder to find someone who'll close for you, and Bernadette is off in Kansas. I might just stick it out and warn Don early that I might call in tomorrow, depending on how I feel. If I get better by tomorrow morning, I'll go in, but if not...forget it.
Still frustrated, but more with myself than anything. Boomer Express is something that I care about, and I feel kind of bad about how crappy it's been up until now. I think it just fuels the whole distance thing I see between myself and everyone else; Tyrnn, Brahma, Geemo, Quinn, et. al have a much closer sense of humor than I do. I write "Dawson's Creek" shit while they're onto something lighter. I think I'm *supposed* to be a wallflower, but I'm much too vocal about it. <:) More tea, some cereal, room-cleaning and maybe a little writing should make me feel better, I think.
