Hey there, all...
It's been an up-and-down kinda week. Tuesday was one of the worst days I've had this year; Wednesday was one of the best.
I just slacked off monstrously before heading in to work. I dressed up in my Sunday-best (me and Rowland, the newest coworker, were supposed to just dress up on Tuesday, but I had forgotten), went in and just...worked. I didn't dread the work, I didn't dally about it, I just went in and did what I had to do. It was a very nice sense of accomplishment. :) I felt 'in-the-moment' all day yesterday, it was just a grand feeling, to be aware of that moment you're in. After work, me and Silver went across the street to Rogers Rec and shot a few games of pool. Silver lost more than I won, but I actually won the first game by banking across the table to sink the 8 ball in one of those semi-impressive moves that you normally only see on television. Hoohah. ;)

delphinios, stickypawz, Silver and I had a glass of wine or two and just shot the breeze, or whatever it is the kids are calling it these days. <:) I talked to Tyrnn a bit about Boomer Express, and I think I actually kind of have a handle on it now. I think we're...coming together a bit as a team, and the five-day-a-week bit will help us gel that much more.
This morning was a bit of a downer, but...there's nothing I can do about it, so I've been trying to let it go. Much easier said than done. :P
Tonight I think I'm just going to deplug, read and write. The little guilt-monster is eating at my brain about not having finished *one* short story all year, so I'm going to try to have four under my belt by April. :P Shades of NaNoWriMo come to mind...

P.S. - Big, burly skunks, whitetails, wolves and bulls will do nicely. :)
