This weekend wasn't so bad as far as weekends go, but it's left me with a pretty bad case of the guilties. I did something that was undeniably assinine, disappointed a couple of friends to do something that (at the time) was something I thought I needed to do but didn't turn out to be worth it after all. Foo. Sorry, guys. You know who you are.
Saw "Punch-Drunk Love" on Saturday, what a weird little movie. :) I'm thinking about writing a full-fledged review for it, just to practice editorial writing. It's something that I think would...just help me in the long run, but I'm not quite sure just why I feel that way.
Grand total for the novel so far: 381 words. I slacked off *all* weekend. Man, you don't know how bad I feel about that.
Two days until Ramadan, and I have to focus a bit more on picking myself up after this little stumble out of the gate. I *will* do this. I will never forgive myself if I don't.
Despite everything, life's not so bad. <:) Off to coffee...erm, work for me!
