Hey there, all...
Today has been one of those days that just didn't seem to pan out no matter how hard I tried. Most of the day I panicked because I couldn't find this one fellow's address, even after I charged his card for the order. So, unless I find it tomorrow, the best I can hope for is that he'll call soon about it. Sigh. That's never good.
I was instructed to vacuum the Bookshop today, too, but that fell through after the bag procured a monstrous hole in it that sent all the dirt vacuumed up spewing right back at me. Bastard vacuum cleaner. I wonder how it'd like to be thrown from the roof of the Walton Arts Center so it can spew dirt all over the horrified pedestrians below. Grr.
Oh well, a good cup of tea, some Goo Goo Dolls and maybe a bit of writing will erase this horrid day. :)
In other news, the response to my pipe has been overwhelmingly negative. It's really weird; I didn't expect *this* much of a backlash about it. <:) I'll be respectful of other people's opinions, of course, and I'll listen to what they have to say...but generally I like pipes. Not enough to smoke them heavily, but definitely to indulge in them on occassion. Tonight, there's the Drawing Circle...and I get paid tomorrow! I'll probably take out Ryngs and Blackfeather tomorrow, and get my own phone line. Maybe clear out some of the stack I've accrued at the bookstore and the comic shop. Hmm...maybe being broke was a better idea than having money to spend. <:)
