National Poetry Month 2011

jakebeAs many of you know, April is National Poetry Month. Some folks observe by writing a poem a day for the entire month, and up until recently there was even a LiveJournal group dedicated to it, NaPoeWriMo. The community is dark this year; with the overall exodus away from LJ and my own poor time-management skills, I figure it might be a bit more of a struggle to get the community mobilized in time. So I'll be trying to write a poem a day personally, and hopefully I'll be able to follow a few others who'll be doing the same.
In addition to the lack of community, I thought it might be a good excuse to push more eyes over to my writerly blog, "Notes of a Novice Storyteller." It's on Blogger, which I'm not sure is a service people use all that much, but it syncs up nicely with my Google account and so far isn't a giant pain to set up. So points in its favor!
If you're interested in reading a shitty first draft of a poem a day, feel free to head over there and drop a note. Any and all constructive criticism would be appreciated! Including layout tips, content suggestions and the like.
