Hoo, all right. So here's a list of all the things I still need to do.

+ Organize and box books; sell bookcases.
+ Set up computers for transit. (This includes shuffling files spread out over 4 computers to 2, getting rid of all the clutter, keeping everything organized into one handy partition for ease of extraction...and installing Samba on Harvey.)
+ Cull clothing.
+ Make resume.
+ Change banks (moving from Arvest to Bank of America, because it's just easier)
+ Finalize dates for everything.
+ Determine what to keep, what to leave with friends in storage, what to sell/give/throw away.
+ Fill out change of address forms.
+ Talk to Cingular about new residency.
+ Wrap and box framed art, posters.

There's more I'm sure, this is just what I have so far. Writing it down makes it seem a little more manageable, anyway. I'm a sucker for lists. :)

I think everything on Carson is ready to move to the unnamed box, which means doing that and then focusing on Harvey for the last little bit. I'm thinking I will definitely need [livejournal.com profile] shiftyjoe's help with that. I'd love to think I could handle it on my own, but...

Right now, I'm thinking that my as-yet-unnamed computer (thanks [livejournal.com profile] arlekin!) will be the Windows box, and I'll shift everything from Harvey to Carson, who'll be renamed the Great Harvey II. Harvey I will be paid forward to someone in need of a computer, if that's OK with Master Ratty. :)

Other than that, I'm really working hard on trying to maintain discipline with money, food and exercise. Anyone who knows me knows how easily distractable I am, and that's the main thing; I can push myself to do things I don't want to do at the moment well enough, but most of the time I'm just...forgetful.

Anyways, as part of that whole effort I have three things that I absolutely must have done by midnight tonight. What are they? Well, it's my list, not yours, get your own. :)

Tonight I'll be heading over to [livejournal.com profile] belly4you's place for red beans and rice, biscuits and movies, probably in that order. Tomorrow morning I'll get started on the book organization; they're all right packed, since I'm chewing through this one particular book right now. Godel, Escher, Bach is very interesting, but my is it a thick read. :)
