This Room Will Go No Further

Wisdom tooth extraction #2 will happen on Tuesday, Oct. 18th. Since I've already been there before, they won't be needing to take my x-ray or anything (for which they have to make another appt.)...so it'll be straight from "Hi!" to "Ow!" in about 30 minutes. No, really. Folks at the Free Clinic are awfully quick.
I had to take the 7 a.m. bus all the way to Dickson St. so I could be one of the first people to arrive. I waited for 90 minutes and *still* the earliest they could see me was for the 18th...and I was number 5. This goes to show you how insane it is to get dental stuff done at the Free Clinic. No wonder you can't make an appointment by phone!

arlekin and stickypawz to an attack by the Tarrasque. Mwahahahahahahahaha!! I think the whole head-trip mysterious happenings bit works a lot better on television than it does in gaming, though. Or maybe I'm just not with the right kind of audience for it. Either way, I'll be working on a game summary this week, as well as next week's game.
I haven't forgotten about the poetry, of course. At this point, though, I can only dress myself one shoe at a time.
I am spending twelve hours working at the Bookshop today, which I do believe is a personal record. 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., open to close. And a long bus ride home. I think I'll indulge in a can of soup and PBJ when I get home, and then collapse. Tomorrow, I get to open again! Hurrah! ;)
In reading Dogen, I stumbled onto an epiphany: the Three Treasures are reflected in the entire world. Everything you experience can be a 'refuge' if you look at it in the right light. I would explain, but I have more books to shelve.
