Where Am I Going?

I've been thinking about this with increasing regularity for the past year or so, and now I think I'm going to seriously look into it:
I want to own and/or operate a used bookstore. As a career. The more I think about it, the more I really can't imagine myself being genuinely fulfilled doing anything else.
Of course...the market has to be hellaciously fierce in CA. I'm thinking maybe I could start with a small but sustainable Internet-based business when I move there (or maybe a few months afterwards) while I'm searching for space or trying to find work at one. But I'm going to talk to Charles and/or Don about it sometime this week, to see if I can get pointers and lessons, and maybe contacts.
The idea is scary, but tremendously exciting.
