Happy Solstice and merry Christmas to everyone! :)

A few news links: This is one of the most awesome things I've read about in a long time. One part of me wishes I was on one of those buses, another part of me wishes I could be *doing* that. You could change the costume from year to year to make sure people never expect you...or, that you aren't easily recognizable. Maybe you could even set up a PayPal account for people to donate to the cause. Though I'm sure there would have to be a system in place to, you know, make sure the money was actually going to folks on buses. Hmmm. I'm intrigued now. :)

The girl from It's A Wonderful Life spreads Christmas hokum, I mean cheer, every year now that she's grown. She's really an interesting woman! Now I *almost* want to see the movie. ;)

And, after [livejournal.com profile] seph_ebonblade's post about how much of an ass Donald Trump is, we find further proof of his asshatishness. Seriously, does that over-teased hair hide a urethra or something? Most exacerbating thing about this? The fact that Trump alleges a smaller flag "would not appropriately express Donald Trump's and the Club members' patriotism." So what, we all have to have gigantic flags draped over our homes to show proper respect for our country? I had no idea the size of our dicks, er, flags had anything to do with our allegiance to the spirit of democracy. Sit and spin, Mr. Trump. :P

[livejournal.com profile] mut and I held a holiday poker night last night! [livejournal.com profile] tealfox, [livejournal.com profile] andreal, [livejournal.com profile] seamusyote and Exactly all joined us for nibblings and Texas Hold'em. [livejournal.com profile] mut won the first game, while Exactly won the second; I was first to go in the last game, but oddly enough I think I played better than I did the first game. Also, all those hours of watching the game on TV paid off while I got to play dealer. ;) Thanks, guys, for coming over!

Today, writing, watching The Sopranos, shopping for Christmas dinner. I want to dust the cobwebs off [livejournal.com profile] writerrabbit, try to make it a more general writing journal instead of just a place to show completed stuff. A lot of what I'm working on I'd like to keep...only for the eyes of a certain group of people, if you know what I mean. :)

Finally, to [livejournal.com profile] bamboofae, [livejournal.com profile] joshuwain and [livejournal.com profile] toob: you were right, I was wrong. Rent is actually pretty good, and I take back all of the horrible things I said about it. Now can it finally get out of my head? Please?!? ;)
