Return Fire
Mar. 5th, 2006 08:53 amSince he was so kind to let me play around in his LiveJournal, I present to you...
dakimov!
*kazoo plays triumphantly*
Hihi everyone! *wagwagwag* .o)
Well, I don't have anything astounding or profound prepared for this, I have to wing it just like the rabbit had to to when he posted in mine! And have you ever heard a rabbit play a kazoo? (It's kinna unnerving in a strange erotic way!)
Well, I have had a blast since being down here. Northern AR is beautiful and reminds me much of the 20 years I lived in Southern IN. The last time I was in this area it was 20 years ago (and almost to the day), I was still a spelunker, and I was not a furry, and my reasons for coming here were COMPLETELY different (duh! That's not too hard to figure out, and please take it as a general comment and not a insightful revelation!)
I've gotten to meet all of Jake's buds, including his roommate,
stickypaws and all the other furs in the "nest of furries" that make up NARFA.
It's been a wonderful weekend of movies, malls, restaraunts, music-listening and laughing my tail off at all the comedy that seems to abound here. (At least while I was around - according to some of the 'local legend and lore' (read = stories about recent 'happenings' and events) things are not always pretty around here.) I have to admit, though, there is a great sense of comeraderie that I'm not used to, being sort of a 'lone fur' myself - it's been an unusual experience for me, but wonderful at the same time.
Well, today's itenerary includes breakfast (which I hope is soon! *stomach growling*) and maybe some more movie watching. .o) I know it's gonna be another awesome day.
The only downer I have acually experienced is today, and that is because I realize this is the last day, and I will have to leave tomorrow - and I'm not going to want to leave. Yes, leaving here will be extremely difficult, I'm afraid....but that is tomorrow, so I won't spoil today by letting myself think about it much more until the sun rises again.
Thanks, son, for letting me play on your side of the street, even if for a little while. .o) *wagwagwag*
