I haven't been speaking much because for some reason I haven't been thinking much when using my computer. I would like to, though, so here goes. :)

Greek theatre makes me hot. )
Saw "I (heart) Huckabees" on Monday, and that was an awful lot of fun. :) It's a weird little movie, and I'm not sure I can adequately explain it without coming off like a complete bore, but I recommend it anyways. If only because you get to see Jude Law as a nursing mother. I am not kidding.

Oh! I ran my first game in a year last night, and though it didn't turn out nearly the way I had expected it to, it seemed to go over pretty well nonetheless. It's the first part of a three-part story, and I'll post the summaries of it up when all three parts have been played.

Sorry if I seem overly-flaky as of late, especially to folks on-line. Too much on my mind, so I tend to just...rush off and/or perhaps come off a bit rudely. I don't mean it personally, just give me a bit of time to stop racing and settle down.

Oh, and...

Apparently, LiveJournal decided I couldn't have my layout any more. Hopefully, this is just a hiccough. Yes, I do believe that's how you spell it.

Reading "Bird by Bird," which is an awesome book by the way, and it filled me with the desire to write. Again. Only this time, more realistically; nothing's ever going to be awesome the first time you write it down. Well, actually, it might be, but if it is then you should know that thousands of brain cells probably died in that one flash of pure creative insight. In the 'biz', some faeries call that Rhapsody.

Coffee, by the way, makes me random.

I'm at work hiding from stacks upon stacks of books. I'm getting good at shelving a whole lot of them very fast, but now that I have this free time in my afternoon I'm noticing how bombed out some of my sections look. I've been discreetly avoiding one entire aisle of my room by suddenly drinking coffee when I walk by, or finding something very interesting about a book that's...not in that aisle. So far the plan is working, but the section is getting increasingly difficult to ignore. Pretty soon, I'm sure abandoned books laying in stacks on the floor are going to start calling out to me. O.O

From Xydexx: You are beautiful.

I'm nervous about getting my wisdom teeth pulled. The big day happens to be Thursday, 23 June. I need to stock up on applesauce, yogurt and ice cream before then.

Back to the book mines.
