I've changed the look of my LiveJournal; let me know what you think of it. I know most people are probably reading this from the friend's pages anyway, but if you could take a moment and give me feedback ti'd be much appreciated. I wanted it to look earthy without being obnoxious. As it is, it's not so bad. I might fool around with the color scheme to make it look a lot more...deserty.
Work is getting really stressful. Charles is having problems with his feet; there's a fracture or break in there somewhere, and I think both of them are swollen...even the good one. So he's just not feeling well. This, combined with the fact that we're still taking in way too many books *and* we're not getting enough time to work our sections *and* he and Heidi are going to vacation at the exact same time, is making him downright grumpy. He's dressed me up and down for two days in a row now, and I'm really thankful that I don't have to see him today, really. Unless he comes in during the evening again and chews me out for something, like he did yesterday.
I understand *why* he's doing it; he's very worried about the way the Bookshop is going. His health is deteriorating slowly, and honestly he should be sipping mai-tais in some Caribbean paradise now. But he's here. I can sympathize with what he's going through...it just doesn't make it any easier to deal with. :)
Not much else going on. Tried to hang out at the library yesterday but their wireless network sucks the paint off a Chevy hubcap so I quickly grew frustrated and wandered off. Still, the library is a very neat place to read and relax. Highly recommended for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
In other news, spazzed with Odis abotu the game, and I'm really getting excited about it again. It's way different from Pomervale already, but...I just hope we can hang out in Greenheart (our new home in the very druidic-ruled Eldeen Reaches) before we're out to do more overarcing, world-saving plot stuff. But, with
delphinios being an entire chronicle's worth of plot in and of himself, I think we're going to be packing our travelling bags sooner as opposed to later. :D
Now, work.
