I'm A Number On Your Wall
Mar. 4th, 2005 09:07 amI think I'm finally hitting the tail end of my slump, thankfully. With the flood of ideas finally comes the iniative to do something with them. I don't want to talk too much about them, because that'd be wasting energy on bragging about something that hasn't happened yet; I'd rather devote the time to actually *doing* them. Still, a small to-do list for this weekend:
+ Write letters to folks who're getting surprises in the mail.
+ Write two poems.
+ Finish game synopses for Odis' Eberron game.
+ Write two or three short short stories (or fictionlets).
+ Get my ratty fix.

toob the other night really kind of straightened me out. It's nice to have someone you know who loves you but ain't afraid to slap you around when you need it. :)
That being said, there's a long way to go still in my development as a person. It's odd, but when you start to become overly proud of your accomplishments you'll find them slowly starting to be erased right before your eyes. It's generally a good idea to just stick your nose to the grindstone and keep pushing, no matter how far you think you might have come.
There's a lot more I want to say, but I've already said it before. I want to push myself into saying something different, into giving up old assumptions and ideas. That'll take a lot more than just expressing the desire, though.
So, here I go. :)
