What is it about me that makes me an insensitive jackass?
Someone comes to me with their fears and it turns into this big fat, stupid argument about...nothing, when all they really wanted was someone to listen and be supportive.
Right after that I talk to mom. She can't drive her car because she didn't pay a $70 ticket a year ago, and the money I sent her last time went to those fees. This means: none of it went to bills, she *still* hasn't paid her car insurance, and she's now without a way to get around outside of rather expensive and dangerous mass transit. And since I don't have anything left for a few weeks myself there's nothing I can do about it. I had to listen to 30 minutes of a laundry list of expenses and pretty much say "I've got nothing."
This is one of those days where you feel *absolutely* useless. I'm too tired.
