Save Me Stranger, If You Please

Not a lot of time, so this will be short.
First, not to bitch about a service I pay just a fraction of cost for, but I'm getting rather tired of the frequent crashes and problems that have been coming up with the network. This is probably just a "I'm upset about a few things so this is more annoying than it should be." thing, but damnit...I've been getting Windows Network error messages since I got up this morning. Tried rebooting, didn't work. Then there are the kick-offs, sudden big ass lag bubbles, etc. etc. It's getting to be a precious thing where a day goes by and the connection *doesn't* mess up in some way. Both Joey and Delphi have jobs that eat quite a bit of time, so there's nothing to be done for it but stick it out, I guess. I'm getting really grumbly about it, though.
This weekend was a lot busier than I expected. Odis' game on Friday (oh MAN was that fun), and I'll have to say Nikon displayed more balls than I've ever seen this time around. I didn't make the transition from black gay Buddhist to blacksmith-cum-werewolf-servant-of-Artemis very well, so I was taking everything very...pacifistically. Nikon just walked in, messed up a couple times, but actually got laid (that's right, through my brilliant matchmaking scheme) and had the stones to stick an arrow right into the jugular of Hades...no, literally. Hades is not amused, and the gloves are off...and we're only fifth-level. :P I really, really need to write game summaries about this but there's no time. :P
Saturday I spent the day moving into a new room (Delphi's old one) that's a lot bigger than the one I had. I think it's easily the biggest room I've ever lived in. Usually, because I try not to have a lot of stuff and I don't protest about it, I'm stuck with one of the smaller rooms. I don't really mind (except in the trailer-house me and Odis lived in before coming to this apartment)_but it's so nice to have a room where...I have a good bit of walkaround space. My footlocker has been converted to a floor-level chess/tea table and I sleep (mostly) in my closet, because it's that damned big. Oh yeah. :)
Sunday I worked for Matt, which wasn't bad at all. Sold about $700 worth of books in five hours, got all my books for the weekend shelved and the area of my domain somewhat straightened, so I can go in there completely focused on internet orders and getting the Environment/Ecology section over and done with.
I've thought of yet another reason my on-line attendance has been low as of late; I try not to be on-line when I'm tired, because I tend to get bitchy and angsty...a lot of you may have noticed. ;) I'm tired a lot these days, and that makes me ultra-sensitive, so instead of inflicting that on people I care about I opt for playing a game of cribbage or pool and heading to bed. I still need to manage my time better, but...*sigh* Don't we all?
This week: Monday -- Changeling game with Lazarus. Tuesday -- "The Passion of the Christ" with Odis. Wednesday -- Wheel of Time game with Nick and Sherri. Thursday -- Work and likely 2 Sense. Friday -- (I hope to God) Driving to KC or playing in Odis' game. Next week is going to be similarly busy, because I head off to Orlando on Wednesday for PMP. Hopefully, Orlando will be an actual vacation. <:)
