This weekend has been pretty good to me for the most part. I keep tripping up on the bad parts, though.
Spoke up when I shouldn't have quite a bit, which is something I'm probably going to have to watch. It's probably better to let others think what they want, and come around to changing their minds in their own due time, if they ever do.
In the meantime, I got this totally awesome program thingie called TimeCalendar. It's pretty much just a scheduler, but it's already proving nothing short of invaluable for getting my shit straight. :D I can put in numbers I'm supposed to call at certain times, check off things when I'm done with them, set up a little alarm to warn me ahead of time when stuff is supposed to happen. It's such a darling little thing, I do love it so!!
Been getting on better with a friend or two, while facing the same awkwardness with just about everyone else. ;) I think it's just because I want to be closer to people so much...they sense this neediness and get vaguely unnerved. Or it might be because of any number of things that I won't think about. Whatever, it's just not working out. At least I have a small but close group of friends, which is infinitely better than a bunch of people you have to be someone for. :P
Surprisingly, the writing goes well! I'm able to stick with an idea a lot longer than usual, so I'm definitely taking advantage of that. All too often, though, I find myself wanting to write poetry but not knowing really what to say. I could go on and on about that, but I don't feel like it.
For all of my trying to avoid drama, it has the worst tendency to find me. I'm making a lot of it by now, which *totally* sucks, so I think I'll shut up for a bit.
One more thing: people who burp loudly or make words out of belching are really starting to piss me off. Would it *kill* you to be a little more discreet?
Yeah, I realize I'm bitching needlessly. I'm really off-kilter these days. :) Good night.
