Hey there, all...

As a mindfulness exercise, a friend suggested that I remember everything I've eaten over the course of the day. I rather like the idea and always wanted to try it, so here goes...

2 S'mores Pop Tarts
1 mug of Darjeeling tea
3 slices of pizza (w/ mozzerella + feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, pineapple, garlic, olive oil and no sauce)
10 round tortilla chips
1 mug of coffee
1 bottle of water
1 bite of strawberry shortcake
1 cherry tomato
1 *BIG* mug of Raspberry Zinger tea
1 bowl of Cranberry Almond Crunch cereal
10 round tortilla chips

So that's what I had today! Let's see if I can keep this up tomorrow. <:)

Hey there, all...

We need your money and your lives, so we'll give you back your toast and fries.

I *could* go on a big political rant about the sheer childishness and selfishness that the Senate is displaying, but that would be beating a dead horse...the article speaks for itself.

I got a fair amount of writing done yesterday; I finally caught up on all of the Mustsy assignments and started in on "Grey Warming Over." The articles sent over from Invisibuncle helped quite a bit, and I think I have a good enough angle to actually work with now. Any historical inaccuracies and/or discrepancies I can weed out in later drafts. Would anyone be willing to help with this?

I've been feeling sort of aloof from people recently. I'm...comfortable with this, but I worry that a lot of friend may feel alienated. Like I said before, I really hate making people feel bad, but...when I'm in with company I never seem to know what to say, and any attempts at conversation or humor of whathaveyou tend to ring false because I'm trying too hard. I don't really know what to do. I can't really say, "Screw it, I'll do my own thing." because well...it's a crappy thing to do. ;P

I forgot one little item on yesterday's laundry list...a miniature Snickers bar. Teko actually helped me remember it. <:) Today, more work, and more writing...and more reading! Heh, there's a rut I don't mind being in. I'm starting in on the Harry Potter series now so I can work my way up to Book 5. The Sorceror's Stone shouldn't be too hard to get through; I imagine I could have it done by the weekend. This weekend should be pretty cool because I can actually take time to, you know, chill out a bit and rest. Also, I'll be buying a rustbucket and (hopefully) new (thrift) clothes. I'm looking forward to it. :) Oh, and this may sound lame coming from me, but I hope everyone out east wears a raincoat this weekend. I hear you might be in for a wee bit of weather. Take care, stay dry and GET PLENTY OF BREAD AND MILK!!!!!!
