Hey there, all...

Went out and saw "Chicago" on Friday night with a bunch of friends...man, it was great! :) The energy level and attitude was at least on par with "Moulin Rouge", though there was a much more cynical, assinine tone to everything this time around. The nicest guy in the movie, as a matter of fact, ends up being completely duped, chewed up and spit out by the system of judicial entertainment. I felt sorry for him, really, even though I cheered on Roxy Hart anyway. <:) I've cleaned up a bit of clutter in my room; got rid of a lot of things I just don't need, bagged up a few bits of clothing that I never wear, etc. This is only phase 1, I suppose; there's quite a bit I should be getting rid of, still, but just don't have the heart to part with yet. I *should* be writing a whole lot today, but instead I've wasted it pretty much on Taco Bell and movies. <:) Maybe tonight, eh? For some reason, it's difficult to be 'in-the-moment' enough to focus on getting something down; I keep pulling back and judging a sentence or a thought or a tangent as awkward and unnecessary. I should learn to worry about that kind of thing later, and just dig in.

Hey there, all...

Just to let you know, The Boondock Saints is an incredibly well-said movie. I need an opera score and a slow-motion button for my life. :)
