The Rule of One

Hey there.
It seems that bad things always happen in threes. So, there was the bit of Net angst last week, probably working on Saturdays from now on, and today a local friend decided to sever ties with us completely based on...I don't know what it's based on, really.

Have off work today. Saw "The Miracle Worker" and "The Money Pit". "The Miracle Worker" is a really good movie; it's pretty much a war for communication between Helen Keller and everyone else. And of course, the realization that communication *was* possible was the most beautiful part of the film. I think that illumination of an entire world opening up to you, of possibilities you weren't even aware of before, is what makes life worth living.
Anyway, off to shower and productivity.
