Hey there, all...
So, guess what? I finally saw Star Wars, Episode II - Attack of the Clones...which, now that I look at it, is a really long title.
What did I think? Pshaw, like you care. :)
Actually, I thought it was pretty good. I actually cried when Anakin lost his mother, and she told him she loved him, but that was probably a really personal thing for me. I really liked the character development of Anakin...there were little things that he kept saying throughout the film that made you go, "Oh, so that's where that came from." And Yoda is a bad-ass psycho Force monkey of doom. :)
Does this make me a Star Wars fan? I don't know, but the movie definitely kicked my opinion of it overall up a notch. Despite the fact that it drug in a lot of places, and Ewan McGregor played a really crochety old man without white hair (what happened to naive, wide-eyed Christian?!), I liked the plot...which is very slow, complex and ponderous, like an elephant trying to get up to speed but not quite making it. Ah well, it was good.
Rozberk, Kendra, Nikon and Flying Fox are all down, joining us for what will probably be the last party at this house. I want to make sure it's a good one; and after that, I have to make sure I'm all moved! I'm the easiest person out of the three to move, since pretty much all I own are books, CDs, movies and my bed. ;)
And I delay my big fat rant about Bamboozled yet again. Hopefully, I'll feel up to doing it tomorrow.
