I've been enjoying "Going Beyond Buddha" immensely. <:) Sorry if this bothers people.

Yesterday was Shakyamuni's birthday, and I almost missed it without giving him a present! So I celebrated with dinner at Slim Chicken's with Hethe and <s>Ryngs</s> Odis. The chicken was really good, and so was their sweet tea. :9 After that I went to bed at around 11 or midnight; folks were partying outside so it took a little bit.

Today it's going to be a long day. I picked up a couple of extra hours at work (need the money) and they got tacked on to Friday. After that, dinner with Ryngs and his game, which has...oh dear God, really. It's...indescribable. I wanted to make a summary of the last 8 games or so before I went any further, because we've reached a brand new level of...fucked. The great thing is I can really let loose now, and invest myself totally into my character. I think I'm getting to know how Arlekin feels with all of his. Next to Brobin, this is probably the one that means the most.

I'll try and explain later, promise.

The pile of stuff that I have to do just keeps growing; but between company for two weeks straight, more work and trying to sort out all of this financial stickiness I don't have a whole lot of energy for much else. :/ Still, it has to be done. I really have to get on the ball with time-management.

And I just realized that I can't see "Hellboy" with folks this Saturday *and* make the coworker dinner, too! Argh! My life is a sitcom.

Despite this, I'm content. Really. <:) Just doing the best I can.

I have the window open this morning, and crisp air that's stuck between night and mid-day is lifting the blinds a little and trampling over pages on my desk. The sounds of birds are filtering in right next to the exhaust and rumble of construction equipment pumping along right down the street. Music guides the stuttering of the keyboard in a weird duet that I couldn't repeat if I tried. The air cools my skin, the tea warms my stomach, and this is the moment I live in. This one will die, and so will the next, and the next one after that. But there's always another to take its place.
