1. If your life were a book, what would it's title be? Why?

I'm no good with titles. :) How about..."Breakfast of Champions"? No..."The Last Unicorn"? No.... "Gone With The Wind!" No... I've got it! "Malcolm Y". It's like "Malcolm X: The Next Generation"! We'd fly around in souped-up spaceships, seeing what there is to see, striking pomade oil and planting dates wherever we landed! It'd be awesome... Only I've never been Muslim, and...I'm nowhere near as good-looking as Denzel.

2. If you were to be any philosopher, who would it be and why?

Yee, I'm still getting my feet wet with the whole philosophy thing. I really like Neitzsche's passion about it, and Schopenhauer was...endearing to me for some reason. :) I like Epicurus. I think I'll have to go with Pooh on this one, because he makes philosophy accessible to the Everyman.

3. You get to choose the next President of the US. You can choose anyone - dead, alive, in politics or not. Who would you choose to be our leader for the next four years? And of course, why?

So many choices! Besides the obviously large field of people I admire, I'd have to think about who would actually be good at running a country.

So many choices! Besides the obviously large field of people I admire, I'd have to think about who would actually be good at running a country. <:) Folks like Buddha and the Dalai Lama are all well and cool, but I can't imagine them doing much as President besides getting more people to meditate. ;) I think I would choose Benjamin Franklin; he emboided the pioneering spirit of the Founding Fathers almost perfectly, and he just...was who he was. I always thought it was a shame that he was never President.

4. You can only see one stage performance (musical, play, ballet, orchestra, opera, poetry reading, ect.) ever again. What would you choose to see?

Hamlet, definitely, because there are *so* many things you can do with it. Of all of Shakespeare's plays, I think Hamlet is the most versatile at touching on many different themes and ideas that people can connect to.

5. Your falling off a building. You can scream one word before you hit the ground. What would you yell?

Antidisestablishmentarianism. It would slow my fall quite nicely, thank you.

If you want to be interviewed by me, or would like to ask me questions, just respond to this post and I'll be happy to question or answer, as the case may be. :)

Thanks, Mr. Phoneboothjazz!
