It Wasn't Like That

Hey there, all...
(Very) late with Mustsy stuff and I haven't even begun to read the articles on bubonic plague that Invisibuncle (!) sent me. I have a Changeling thingie with Lazarus tonight, too, and probably a meeting with Willie about the LARP next Sunday, so arrrgh! It's going to be a whopper of a day straight through.
On the bright side, I got preliminary approval to go to MFF this year! :D So, barring anything bad happening I *should* be able to make it! I have my room and roommates procured, now I just need to figure a way up there...and I should see if I could take an extra few days to hang out with Fritzie and Swiftpaw. But, I'll be going to the convention! :)
Started meditation again after a lapse of about two weeks. It's odd to note but there's a very distinct difference in focus between when I meditate and when I don't. Generally, I feel a wee bit more confident, too. So yeah, hurrah for meditation. *waves pompoms*
The car's title has been found, so I get to pay Matt the last hundred bucks for it this Friday! That means I have a car all to myself, and I can start paying for tags, registration and insurance. Now that I'll be sinking money into it on a regular basis, it'll be good incentive to actually learn how to use it. >:) I think I'll try and study up on the driver's test and take it in a week or two.
I just sold a fellow about $800 worth of music magazines on-line today. Hurrah! I love my job. :)
A random person offered me a ride into work today from my usual bus stop, and I gratefully accepted. Spontaneous acts of kindness like that are few and far between, and I do what I can to encourage it. I paid for her coffee, and she told me a story about her recent arrest for public intox and disorderly conduct. We hit it off, well, I think. :) Chances are, I'll run into her again...even though I've forgotten her name already. :/
All in all, a good day; hopefully I can keep those productive juices flowing through the rest of work and when I get down to Mustsy stuff. I've got Assignment 1 critiques done, and I'd like to get critiques for Assignment 2 and well, assignment 2 itself done at least by today. After that, I have *got* to work on "Grey Warming Over". Then, maybe, Assignment 3 before bed. <:) I'm doing mostly exactly what I want to be doing. This never ceases to amaze me.
