Does Paranoia Come With Age?
Aug. 6th, 2003 10:08 amHey there, all...
So having completely fulfilled my whiskey requirement today (with no hangover!), I think I'll save the pipe for after work. 12-year-old Glenlivet rocks. :)
Had the opportunity to run into a bunch of people who all make me nervous individually congregating together on-line today. It was an opportunity to look all smooth or something, or at least say hi and just watch. And what do I do? I bolted. Just got this horrible feeling like I walked in on a board meeting or something, like "Oh my God, I'm not supposed to be here!!" And I just had to *leave*. I'm shaking, even. What the hell is that about? I'm more than slightly worried about that.
Hurrah for neuroses! I got weird after too *much* alcohol earlier this morning, and maybe it's carrying over.
This is all part of a general trend. But I won't explain it too much, or bitch about it even. But there *is* a very strong difference between doesn't and can't.
Work in a few hours! Before that, there's answering e-mail I've been neglecting for a good little while. And before *that*, a little bit of tea to calm my nerves.
