Simplified Exuberance
Hey there, all...
Despite the fact there's a 'war' going on without congressional, international and citizen approval called for by a man the majority of the country didn't elect, and despite the fact that SARS is still spreading (psst, it's in the US now), and despite the fact that Barney is about to make a big comeback...
I'm really happy. :)
It's just one of those things; no reason for it, no real idea about where it came from...just right now, the world and everything in it is basically good. Even Bush. :)
I took a cab into work today, and I think I'm going to see about setting up a regular pick-up service until all of my car stuff is in the clear. It's not *terribly* expensive, and I think I can make do with it for a month or two; it'll roughly be around $30 a week, but it's a secure way in to work and I don't have to wake anyone up. Bonus!
I finished Neverwhere last night, so now it's on to The Innkeeper's Song. I didn't do much writing at all last night, alas, but that's OK...I think I might just slack off for the rest of the week, or until the weekend. I'm really tired and it'll be good to just kick back for a bit, just to kinda...gather resources for another big push in April. <:) I'm a lot more satisfied with things than I can remember. There are still worries, and doubts, and questions, but even those have their places and I'm pretty content to have them; it's part of being people, anyway. Everything is in it's right place.
