I try not to be too political, since I know quite a few Republicans around and I like to keep the peace, but this is an excellent article about the similarities (and differences) of the tactics and practices used by the Bush administration and those used by pre-WWII Nazis in building their fascist German state. I'm glad that people are starting to not dismiss the cases built for this argument out of hand any more. A lot of what's been going on *is* scary, and we should be caring a lot more than we are.
