The Oscars were pretty good last night; I came out the weenar in our little makeshift Cube pool, getting about half of the categories right. Morgan Freeman notching a Best Supporting Actor for "Million Dollar Baby" was surprising, but he handled it very well. :) I was totally ecstatic with Cate Blanchett winning for "The Aviator"; she did an amazing Hepburn. Hurrah for Jamie Foxx and Hilary Swank! Double hurrah to Brad Bird! :D TRIPLE hurrah for "Ryan"! I only wish the Counting Crows could have won for Best Original Song. <:) I learned that Odis' supposedly-episodic, low-level game isn't really episodic at all. By the time the third marathon game ended (11 hours), I learned there was a whole bunch of stuff going on that strung together between the games. There's a lot to talk about, it's a really long story, so I'll have to save it for a later spazz. Was supposed to get my hair braided on Saturday, but the stylist came down with the flu and cancelled at the last minute. Bwar. So I saw "Million Dollar Baby" and "Sideways" instead, both of which were very good. Then I had a bottle of chardonnay. (I should have went with merlot. :) ) I think I'm falling in love with Sandra Oh...any woman who can beat the Christ out of Thomas Hayden Church with a bicycle helmet has my undying respect and affection. Would talk more, but there's work. Hurrah for waking up late. :)
