If You Think You Belong Enough...
Hey there...
Shh, I'm on Joey's computer (network is down) so I'll make this as short as possible.
Everything's going good, for the most part. I think my mind is so crowded with ideas and all that I'm beginning to falter on the story that I've been working on recently, as evidenced by the massive amount of rewriting I've been doing on it. Foo. I have to keep focused.
Went to the NARFA Drawing Circle today, and had quite a bit of fun. I showed up with Ryngs, and Aubrin, Hethe, Delphinios, Chaser, Caleb and Bob all showed up too. We enjoyed *tons* of really, really unPC humor (who knew the Taliban and Mentos would be so funny?), and I worked a little bit on my story, but I kept getting derailed by laughing so hard.
I went to the plasma donation center (I have *money* now), and had to have made my fastest donation yet. The past couple times, it took about 3 hours to get in and out, and today I did it in half the time. Hurrah!
I've been really bad about keeping in touch with people, especially folks who write comments in the Journal. Sorry, guys; I'm reading you loud and clear, and really appreciate all the encouragement. :)
The NARFA mailing list is being attacked by the zombie topic of what's going on with the Florida "Funny Animal" movement, and that's a little annoying. Personally, I don't agree with the shift in name, but honestly it really doesn't have anything to do with our group as a whole; we need to figure out what *our* response to this whole thing will be and react accordingly. I tried turning focus to how sucky Kevin Costner is, but that's only half-worked; I'll write a big spastic e-mail about it when I get home.
And right now, I'm *still* listening to Sylvan's mixed tape. Maybe I should make a copy for myself. ;)
Off to showers, socializing and work for me. Hope you all are having a neat day.
Oh, and now I'll have to support the Suburban Jungle. Gneech wrote a pretty special little thingie about Furry Pride, which has taken a much bigger connotation recently. Hopefully, though, it won't become the mindless patriotism that plagues America post-9/11. We still need to see the warts, people.
One last little plop. Later. :)
