Coda
Hey there, all...
It's a very nice and relaxed rainy day today. :) Mmmm, I love rainy days, they make me think of warm tea and good books and jazz music. I like to sit somewhere and stare at a window, watching people under umbrellas walking by and thinking about the places they'll be going to get out of it. It really makes me think that we're not very much different from animals. We're driven by the same impulses; when it rains, we head for cover. Our dens and holes and caves are different, but the connection is still there.
I'm getting into that comfortable shade of melancholy that happens this time of year. I feel things starting to slow down, the party's over and there's that bitter little twist of year's end. I really love it. :)
Been getting into flights of fancy moreso than usual these days...so many ideas rumbling around in my head. I'm going to have to bang out a rough draft of "Grey Warming Over" for Historimorphs, and after that I'll see about editing "Donna" and then working on "Love In War." I think I've missed the deadline for BTI2, but that's all right. The story will just have to make it to the third book, if they'll have it.
Other things are going on, too. Just can't talk about them. On a completely unrelated note, I really dislike making people feel bad, as much as I seem to do it often. My control slips late at night, especially when I'm tired, so I think I might have to re-dedicate myself to making sure I get enough sleep. This will leave me less time for slack, but well, if it's gotta be done...
